Cause of Your Knee Pain

When you do a back of knee pain test you will lie on your back with your knees bent at a ninety degree angle. Place a folded towel behind your knee and rest your hands on your hips while keeping your knees bent.
You need to keep yourself from bending or rotating at the knee. Keep the towel between your thighs. The towel acts as a flat surface to prevent the possibility of motion.
After a minute or two of sitting up in a relaxed position, gently touch the inside of your knee with the end of a long thin pencil. The pencil should not actually touch the tissue directly, just give it some pressure.
You should have a few small red dots at the back of your knee, which are signals of your discomfort from having LBP. You should notice that these dots have become larger as the minute passes.
When you do a back of knee pain test, you should note that the dots slowly grow bigger as the minute goes on. Once the dots become much larger, you may notice that they are beginning to rub together, or rub on each other. You should be able to see this on both sides of your knee.
